Parvo is in our area now

Last week we had a patient with Parvovirus come to our hospital. He lived locally and that means we have Parvo in this area. This is highly contagious disease which means unvaccinated dogs in this area are at risk. Without treatment, Parvovirus kills 90% of infected dogs. Treatment is effective but costly.
