Our Services
At VIP Vet we pride ourselves on being able to provide the full range of veterinary hospital services, from consultations and vaccinations to minor and major surgery. Our fully equipped hospital allows us to provide or connect you with all the services your Very Important Pet could ever need. See below for more information on the service you require:

Consultations
Appointments are 20 minutes long giving plenty of time to fully examine your pet and discuss treatment options with you. And because we run by appointment, we don't keep you waiting.
Vaccinations
VIP Veterinary Centre use the most up to date vaccines, to maximise immunity and minimise side effects. In line with the World Small Animal Veterinary Association, we are using the triennial vaccine for dogs. Ask us about this when you Important Pets vaccine is due.
Hospitalisation
Our hospital ward has windows to our treatment room so your Very Important Pet can be monitored continuously without disturbing them. This helps us deliver the high standard of care we know you would want.
Anaesthesia and Surgery
Modern anaesthesia and monitoring equipment helps to make anaesthesia safer for your Very Important Pet. We routinely use blood testing before anaesthesia which are performed on the morning of the procedure. All patients having anaesthesia receive intravenous fluids at no additional cost as we believe that making your pets anaesthesia as safe as we can should not be an optional extra. The well equipped theatre allows us to perform minor and major surgery, with patients being hospitalised here overnight if needed.
X-Rays
Brand new, digital equipment gives better quality X-rays that can be taken faster, making it easier to get a diagnosis and a shorter procedure for your pet. And with no chemicals, it is much more environmentally sensitive than the older film systems.
Diagnostic Blood Testing
With in-house laboratory equipment, the results of blood testing are available in minutes, allowing a faster diagnosis and treatment.
Microchipping
Microchipping is a simple procedure that allows pets to be very easily identified making it much easier to get lost pets home. Microchips are given through and needle and no anaesthetic is needed. We now have mini-microchips - great for puppies and kittens as they have a smaller needle. If you pet is not microchipped, we strongly recommended it.
